1. Fly Fishing Guiding Services

1.1 Service Description

We provide fly fishing guiding services in Portugal, which may include, upon booking, equipment rental and passenger transport exclusively to fishing locations.
Services may be carried out by different guides, assigned according to their availability or the region where the service takes place.
All services are performed in compliance with Portuguese law and in accordance with best practices of sport fishing.

1.2 Bookings and Payments

To confirm a booking, a non-refundable deposit of €50 per reserved day is required, payable by bank transfer (IBAN provided at the time of booking). For example, a two-day booking requires a €100 deposit.
This deposit will be deducted from the final budget amount. The remaining balance must be paid no later than the service date.
All bookings must be made at least 15 days in advance.
By paying the deposit, the client acknowledges that they have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions of service, as well as the budget proposal provided.

1.3 Cancellation Policy

The value of the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, except if the guide must cancel the service due to force majeure (e.g., adverse weather conditions or catastrophic river conditions).
In such cases, the deposit may either be refunded or applied to another date agreed upon by both parties.
We are not responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred by the client as a result of such cancellations.

1.4 Changes and Weather Conditions

Safety and quality of the experience are our top priorities. We reserve the right to change the location or date of the service in case of adverse weather conditions, unsuitable water levels, or other force majeure events.

1.5 Client Responsibilities

The client must arrive with appropriate clothing and footwear, carry valid identification (passport or ID card), and follow all instructions given by the guide.
A valid fishing license is mandatory. We may assist in arranging the license upon receipt of the client’s passport details; any personal data provided will be retained only for as long as necessary to arrange the license and in compliance with Portuguese data protection law (GDPR). Once the purpose has been fulfilled, all personal data will be securely deleted.

1.6 Insurance and Limitation of Liability

All guides hold liability and personal accident insurance as required by Portuguese law.
We are not responsible for personal or material damages resulting from the client’s failure to follow 5.

2. Fly Fishing School

2.1 Service Description

We provide fly fishing school services in Portugal, which may include, upon booking, equipment rental and passenger transport exclusively to fishing locations.
All services are performed in compliance with Portuguese law and in accordance with best practices of sport fishing.

 3. Fisheries Management and Consulting

3.1 Service Description

We provide fisheries management and consulting services in Portugal, including project development, recreational fishing zones (ZPL) proposals, and regulatory support.
All services are provided in compliance with Portuguese law and applicable environmental standards.

3.2 Bookings and Payments

Upon approval and signing of the budget proposal, a non-refundable fee of €50 is charged.
Fees related to the submission and annual charges of Recreational Fishing Zones (ZPL) are not included in the budget proposals and must be paid directly by the client.
The total budget may be divided into two installments: the first payment upon project submission, and the second upon project approval.

3.3 Cancellation Policy

The €50 fee charged after budget approval is non-refundable under any circumstances.
We are not responsible for delays or additional costs arising from project submission or approval processes beyond our control.

3.4 Client Responsibilities

The client must provide all documentation and information necessary for project submission and must comply with legal and environmental regulations.
The client is also responsible for timely payments of all fees and charges related to the project.

3.5 Limitation of Liability

We are committed to providing professional and diligent services. However, we cannot be held liable for project approval outcomes, regulatory decisions, or unforeseen external factors that may affect the project.

 4. Custom Fly Tying

4.1 Service Description

We provide custom fly tying services in Portugal, tailored to the client’s specifications regarding patterns, sizes, and target species.
All flies are tied in accordance with professional fly tying standards and using high-quality materials.

4.2 Bookings and Payments

Upon approval and signing of the budget proposal, a non-refundable fee of €50 is charged.
The total budget may be divided into two installments: the first payment upon confirmation of the order, and the second upon delivery of the flies.
The completion deadline for the flies will be clearly specified in the budget proposal.

4.3 Cancellation Policy

The €50 fee charged after budget approval is non-refundable under any circumstances and will be deducted from the final budget amount.
We are not responsible for delays or issues related to the availability of specific tying materials beyond our reasonable control.

4.4 Client Responsibilities

The client must provide clear specifications for the requested flies and verify that all details are correct before production begins.
The client is also responsible for timely payments of all fees and charges related to the order.

4.5 Limitation of Liability

We are committed to providing professional and diligent services. However, we cannot be held liable for differences in fishing performance outcomes, as these depend on external conditions beyond our control.

 5. Fishing License Support

5.1 Service Description

We provide fishing license support services in Portugal, assisting clients with the request and processing of sport fishing licenses.
All licenses are obtained in accordance with Portuguese law and applicable regulations.

5.2 Bookings and Payments

To confirm a service request, a non-refundable deposit of €50 is required, payable by bank transfer (IBAN provided at the time of booking).
This service must be requested at least 15 days before the intended fishing date.
The remaining balance must be paid before the license is issued.
A valid identity card or passport will be requested in order to obtain the fishing license. Any personal data provided will be retained only for as long as necessary to complete the license request and will be securely deleted thereafter, in compliance with Portuguese data protection law (GDPR).

5.3 Cancellation Policy

The €50 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
We are not responsible for delays or denials caused by the competent authorities.

5.4 Delivery and Liability

Once the license has been obtained, all documentation will be sent to the client by registered mail.
We accept no responsibility for delays or losses that occur after the documentation has been dispatched by registered post.

5.5 Client Responsibilities

The client must provide accurate and complete personal details (including passport information when required) in order to process the license request.
The client is also responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information provided on the license upon receipt.

5.6 Limitation of Liability

We are committed to assisting in the license process diligently and in accordance with the law. However, we cannot be held liable for delays, postal losses, or regulatory decisions beyond our control.

 6. Voucher

6.1 Service Description

The voucher applies exclusively to the services of fly fishing guide, fly fishing school, and custom fly tying.
It does not include any type of transportation.

6.2 Purchase and Payment

The voucher is issued only after full payment of its value, payable by bank transfer (IBAN provided at the time of booking).
The voucher is valid until 31 December of the year in which it was issued.
By paying for the voucher, the client expressly agrees to the applicable Terms and Conditions, as well as to the services associated with it.
In accordance with Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei 24/2014, Article 17, no. 1, l)), vouchers related to leisure activities on specific dates are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal.

6.3 Booking Dates

Use of the voucher requires prior scheduling between the client and the guide, instructor, or fly tier.
The chosen date must be agreed upon and confirmed by both parties.

6.4 Cancellations and Refunds

The amount paid for the voucher is non-refundable under any circumstances.

6.5 Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for presenting a valid voucher at the time of the service and for respecting the previously agreed date.

6.6 Limitation of Liability

We are committed to delivering the services covered by the voucher with professionalism and in accordance with best practices.
However, we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, including scheduling conflicts or the client’s inability to attend.
